Mont Blanc brand

Montblanc (sometimes on the old product called Mont Blanc) is a German company known for writing instruments (pens) and luxury goods.

In 1908, traders Claus-Johannes stationery Voss, Alfred Nehemias and the engineer tape August Eberstein established company Simplo Filler. The company produces high-end pens in Hamburg. Later, a pen production in 1910 has created a new source of inspiration for the name of the company – Montblanc. In 1993, Montblanc Brand image is recognized through the top six star “White Star” logo shown rounded the tip of Mont Blanc mountain snow – the highest peaks in the Alps. In 1924 the company introduced the first fountain pen named “Meisterstuck” ( “Masterpiece” and immediately achieved great success. Today, the fountain pen “Meisterstuck” is still being produced. The success the enormous “Meisterstuck” helped the company expand its business scale international markets. Starting in 1929, the figure “4810” (the height of Mont Blanc) is engraved on the pen of all “Meisterstuck”. in 1934, the company changed its name to Montblanc – Simplo GmbH, and introduced the first pen-tone bit.

By 1935, the company has expanded its business products including leather goods: small bag, laptop bag and write. Production base of the company was destroyed in World War II but was rebuilt. In the rebuilding process, the production is continued implementation in Denmark.

Meisterstuck pens continue to be produced and improvement, this is still a key product of the company, although many new models are constantly born. In the 1980s, the company Montblanc has expanded the scope of business to Asia. Starting in the 1990s, the company opened more stores. Today, the old brand Montblanc pen became collectors items are much loved.

Company Dunhill bought shares of Montblanc during the 1970s, then in turn was bought by Richemont Group – Product supplier Montblanc, luxury fashion houses such as Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels. Under the ownership and management of the Richemont Group, the brand expanded its business larger leather products such as leather bags, jewelry and watches. Starting in 2001, the fragrance became one of the main products of the brand Montblanc. In 2005, the fragrance for men Starwalker was introduced in conjunction with Starwalker pen and clock collection Timewalker men. Montblank brand perfumes are produced through collaboration with Inter Parfums Inc. company

Montblanc fragrance firm currently has more than 20 fragrances, fragrance first launched in 2001 and the newest fragrance to be launched from 2015. The company markets Montblanc collaboration with the perfumers Sonia Constant, Almairac Michel, Pierre Bourdon, Corinne Cachen, Olivier Pescheux, Bernard Ellena and Nathalie Feisthauer.
